Got to take the 300tdinout of my disco as it's being sold.
I've taken a 200tdi out before but with the help of my mate who knows what he's doing, wheras I don't

I'd like the gearbox/transfer box out as well so is it easier to do it all in one piece?

I was going to borrow an engine crane but read that the lump has to be listen pretty high to clear the slam panel? I have access to a telehandler if needed but that means trailering the disco all the way to the yard...

Any tips would be helpful :D

Is the Disco going to be scrapped afterwards, if it is then cut the slam panel out. Easy.

Yeah whatever's left of the shell is going to be scrapped. I've not had a proper look, could it just be took out with an angle grinder?

Then is it just a case of taking the weight on the crane, undoing engine/gearbox mounts and sliding out the front?mobbioulsy after disconnecting wiring, hoses etc...

after you've got weight on crane drop Gearbox cross member then it'll come out the front.

Cheers, sounds easier!

Plan on getting it ready for removal on Saturday. I'll be taking the rad and intercooler out. What else will I need to unplug?
