Hi. Im new to 4x4's and i'm looking for a discovery.

My buget is about £5k. I cant decide between a 300tdi or a TD5.

How much better is a TD5? and at this money would i be better spending it on a 300tdi?

do you want to run the kids to school or beat it up off road?

for some, the electrickery on the TD5 puts them off.

I want it for a bit of everything really. I'm currently runnig a impreza, but need something a bit more practicle. I need something to drag trailers about with, genaral driving and a little light off road.

I have a TD5 so biased towards them, However for 5K you'll find loads of tidy 300's and a few well used TD5's
