Morning all.

Quick question.

Am about to remove my 300's EGR system.

Noticed the EGR has a 3 wire connector on it? I also want to remove the solenoid device, but this has a few small rubber pipes on it.

So, will i upset any vacuum by ripping all that out?

Also, what are the wires for on the EGR valve? I was under the impression these engines were all mechanical, but have now also noticed it has (what i believe to be) a throttle position sensor on the pump.

I took out the vacuum pipes as well and blanked the holes with small bolts (one on the air box and there was a t-piece on the drivers side of the bulkhead. I removed the solenoid and tied the plug out of the way. Not had any issues.
