Right guys need some help please. I bought a 2.5td defender, stripped it down and needs a re chasis. I'm goin for a new galv 300tdi chasis. Soo what's involved in making it a 300tdi defender and is it legal to do so, lookin at a discovery engine due to my last thread, uprated suspension etc

Perfectly legal just as long as you inform DVLA of change of chassis and engine..

Thanks for that. In terms of fitting a discovery 300tdi how hard is it and what bits will I need

Disco engine is identical to defender engine. take the flywheel housing off the TD engine and fit it to the 300engine and the LT77 gearbox will mate straight upto it.
