this has been annoying me for a while now...

when i put it into reverse, the stick normally has to be held right in for the light to come on. sometimes though, when i pull it into reverse, it kind of clicks and the light stays on on its own just fine.

do you think a new switch would sort this annoying problem out?

if your having to push stick right over to get light on either switch is poor ,selector yoke is worn were switch contacts or both

ok thanks, how could i tell if the selector yoke's worn? i thought it might have been something other than the switch tbh

either have a look at it by removing box top or remove washer from switch see if it going in more helps
