Hi all, another day another problem with my disco, its a 300tdi auto and when i'm going along with my foot just down enough on the throttle to sit at a steady speed the engine occasionaly loses power for a fraction of a second as if i've taken my foot off the pedal. It does it at any speed and never at idle or when my foot is more than half way down. It's not affecting anything too much but it is really REALLY annoying :doh:, any ideas?

Could be the EGR valve playing up, do you get any black smoke when this happens.

change the fuel filter ....i had the same problem on a 300 tdi defender

Clean out the fuel sedimenter, then if the problem persists change the fuel filter, then if you need to - change the fuel lift pump.
