Hi everyone,

I've owned my Disco 1 300tdi for just over 3 months.

It's always flashed its hazards as soon as a door is opened, i've put this down the previous owner having to bypass the imobiliser with a starter button.

The alarm has never made a sounds before, but the one day I want to use the dsico for work it decides to go off at 5:30am!

is there a way of taking the alarm out of the equation so it doesnt make a sound?

Normally just power down the security ECU or just unplug the sounder, simples.

Sorry but where is the sounder? total newbie with the disco at the moment haha.

Early 300s have an addition horn style sounder behind the grill, and later an electronic sounder on the offside inner wing near the fuse box in the engine bay.
