i thought about it then found out how much the headlights was. i,ve seen it dun and they look well smart,it involves a fair bit of cuttin and messin.if ya google it there is a thread which tells ya how to go about it,if you wanna fit the earlier lights its a damnsight easier cus they are the same as a 300tdi just painted black round the edges i think

Looks like the wings are different so is the trim below the lights so they'd need changing too. = more money plus the lamps plus the wiring.
Are the swage lines between the Disco 1 and 2 the same? If not the wings wont interchange without the lines being out where the front door and wing meet.

f they're not interchangeable you could modify the 300 ones but that would need body shop skills and tools, plus paint work.

Dont let me put you off I dont know for sure and as they say : anything's possible only limit is the depth of the pocket.
