Ok storyline.

No amigos showing. Everything perfect.

Failed MOT on worn ball joints. Left disco into a non landy garage to get them replaced. They beat them out with lump hammers over the course of 5 hours and broke my two front ABS sensors.

3 Amigos on.

Brought disco to an independent Landy specialist. Replaced the two front sensors.

3 amigos off.

Drove for 30 miles and ping.... 3 amigos on.

Ran diagniostics and it says a bad front right ABS sensor.

Now there is a slight knocking when, lets say turning right around a roundabout at low speed. There is no noise when turning left in a car park lets say.

What could be causing the right front sensor to give a bad reading. CV joint, wheel hub? or wheel bearing?

There is no play in the wheel in any direction and if i jack it up and spin the wheel with the steering turned to the right there is no knocking noise.

Where should i start?

Can anybody point me to a giude to removing an ABS sensor?

it may need sensor reseating even oring can interfere ,id check cv is seated correctly and tight and no wear in joint ,wheel bearings can be worn but not necessarily noticeable when checked

Cool. Ill have a look. Thought it was further in the hub for some reason.

If it was just a simple problem of the sensor not sitting right and I was to re position it.

Would the 3 amigos go off on the turn of the key or would i need to get them reset using a diagnostic tool?

For hub bearing issues the fault code is usually " ....... air gap too large" ... and on these kind of faults the warning goes off on restart(after u exceed 15km/h) then it randomly comes back.... when the fault will dissapear the warning will not come back.
