Hi - I did a search on this but struck out. Does anyone know the size of the bolts that hold the door hinges on the 2nd row doors? Vehicle is a 1998 110 SW (300 TDI)
I need to find some replacements pronto as I am having the b and c pillars replaced and they have had to drill out the old torx ones. I haven't time to order from the net and have no LR dealers near to me. I am guessing they are M8 but what length?

These are the bolts that connect the hinge to the B-pillar. Anyone have one knocking around they could measure?

I don't have the vehicle here otherwise I would remove one from the other door. Part number is AFU1036

nope sorry, could measure at the weekend, but http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/81430/0/bolt_door_hinge_body_rear_def__wa might help if it's just for hole size

Yes local coachworks are doing the B and C pillars. Bought the metal from YRM and stripped the panels off the o/s before I dropped it down to them. I was hoping to try and get a couple of temporary replacement bolts from Screwfix so they could fit the door and I could get it home but it'd still there for now. Hoping the bolts will arrive tomorrow.

i just bought some really long un's and cut them down to fit flush :brushteeth:

if its at a coachworks though... isnt this something even the most glass hammer, sky hook, long weight fetching apprentice could do?
