Is that the one that is used for coverting 12V into 24V when radios are fitted?
A clue might be that you run a 12V system if you only have one battery, and the 24V warning light on the dash is there just in case you want to blow something up by putting another battery in series with the one that you had to start with, if that makes sense.
My 24V warning light is connected to the heater timer, as I couldn't be arsed to replace the original wiring.

I'm still confused with this 24v light, the light went out as the battery went flat but when I went to start up the heater plug warning light came on as normal but she was sluggish to turn over, so I charged the battery over night, when I went out this morning the 24v light is back on!! I need to find out what controls this light so I can try to isolate it.

I looked at one recently and found a second battery hidden away under the tub which, at one time, had been used to run a 24V ex-MoD radio!
If you only have one battery, check the voltage going to the lamp and then trace it back using a meter and the wiring colours. Once you have found out where it is fed from, and assuming that it is surplus to requirements, you should be able to isolate it at the source end.
