200tdi valve adjustment guide. using the rule of nine.
easiest way, do in this order.
showing the least amount of turning the crank.

Valve fully open........ Check and adjust
Valve #1................... Valve #8
Valve #3................... Valve #6
Valve #5................... Valve #4
Valve #2................... Valve #7

Valve #8................... Valve #1​

Valve #6................... Valve #3

Valve #4................... Valve #5
Valve #7................... Valve #2​

Why do you think they call it "The rule of nine" Common sense should tell you that if it works on one 4 cylinder Otto cycle engine it will work on all. Of course thats provided you have some common sense in the first place .

Only true for 1-3-4-2 firing order. Don't work on an Alpha flat 4 boxer engine...
