Quick question,

Looking for a snorkel for my Defender, its a 200Tdi with a 3.9 conversion. So wasplanning on just buying a snorkel from Paddocks designed for a 200Tdi.

Can anyone see a problem with doing this? Do you think the snorkel would stifle the V8 or should it be fine?Iv tried to look and I cant see any pipe diameter differences but I cant find any actual measurements.

Yes I know you can get proper V8 snorkels but they cost a hell of a lot more.

in the water one of the herts lot has got a v8 that does pretty well, ask them for more details.

Ah right cool, Il have to have a look.

I was planning on Mega Jolt to get rid of the dizzy but if theres any onther things then always good to know.
 
V8 regularly seen around Bstoke has a snork on each side - one for each bank.

Guessing thats on carbs then, one snorkel for each inlet on the carb.

Does anyone know the diameter of the snorkels for the 200Tdi, then I could compare it with the intake pipe on the V8.

62mm ish seems to be the Norm
