is there much diferance between them? have got the chance of 200tdi 70,000 miles gen truck cab £1500

Seems a bit on the cheap side. 200 is simpler than the 300 allegedly, never had owt to do with em meself.

kinell, I paid £4.5k fer mine wiv 80,000

no has got good chassis and just had new rear cross member

Next to no difference between 200 and 300 - essentially the 300 is slightly more refined. Same power and torque outputs - 300 has slightly more elecktrickery if it's a late one.

I'm with the others, seems cheap, but if the chassis, bulkhead and driveline are all ok then it could be a winner. Check it carefully and then check it again...

the 200tdi is alledgedly the most reliable engine LR have ever made, although the 300tdi is slightly quieter.

If it's all as good as it sounds, bite their hand off at that price.

ven if you had to fit an entire new chassis, you'd still have a low mileage Defender for <£3k!
