thanks for the replies,yes did post last winter,still no heater,bypassed egr as as i think the tank may have had a leak,so thermostat there gone,egr blanked off.

I know it's pretty obvious but you have got the dial on the centre air vent turned to the red dots haven't you?

Is that 3 threads on the same fault by the same OP?
