Hi folks, anyone know what Gearbox filter I would require for a L322 2004 Td6 with standard
GM 5L40E gearbox?
I have found 2 types online, Filter Flat Pick Up and 1/2 Inlet but can't find any info regarding which one to use. There appears to be quite a variation in price also any recommendations welcome!

HI Doobie,
I bought genuine LR part. I believe this is so important I did not want to take a chance.I have the exact same model you say you have
The LR part number on my invoice = LTHE500031 cost 73.42 plus the VAT. This included bolts for the pan and a new pan gasket. I just had to buy oil -

I just looked for my oil invoice. I spent a lot of time asking about best oil to use. I ended up buying G-Force ATF-LV low viscosity Dexron VI
I bought via amazon from Opie Oils - Great service from Opie. ( no connection at all other than an happy customer.)

Hi Mark, thanks for the info. I'll see what I can get from LR, I'm keen to use quality parts, the differences in price are huge but the cheap parts can be a real false economy. Thanks
