Hi got a hot start issue so have read on here and have been told by other owners to change the camshaft pulse sensor which is normally cause of hot start issue
Is the part a straight swap or do u have to tell ecu u have done it
Thought best check before I go and change the part which will take 10 mins if that cheers for your help
Rr vogue 2003 td6 107k
Fuel system has been checked pressures
Starts from cold no problem go out drive till up to temp stop get fuel won't start or if does after about 40 secs to a min then starts

Should be a straight swap.

Changed sensor rr wouldn't start and when it did ran rough when reved to 2k rpm cut out
Thought dodgy sensor so have put old one back in
Went to change crank sensor one on back of engine
No idea what it is
Before I touched it was running fine just had hot start issue
Now starts up after a few seconds ticks over fine
In-line pump was changed to a eBay one which had lifetime guarantee so may be this that's faulty
Any ideas as at moment want to cut my losses and get rid

Forgive me...... you changed changed crank sensor and it starts better,
but you remain unhappy, I'm at a loss, surely better is way betterer?
