if it was the immobiliser, it wouldn't turn over. thinking maybe cam sensor, but faulty injectors can also cause starting problems.
have they had it connected to test book (or similar) ?

is this a case of the garige learning at your expense?

they have put it on a test and comes bk with anti theft problem sorry dont know tec word for it

ready to be corrected but....
the immobiliser works by using a chip in the key, with a search coil around the ignition barrel. when the coil sees the chip, it allows the car to start.
have you tried the other key ? (not teaching you to suck eggs, but...)

only had one key with the car and one thob , just running out of ideas now lol

when it's turning over, try easy start into the air inlet. I know i know I KNOW it's a bad thing, but if it then starts and runs, it will give you a pointer, could be injector or cam sensor.

hi thanks for that reply , but she wont start at all its cuming up on test as anti theft problem
hi just been reading about yr probs i no it was last feb but iv seem 2 have a similar prob with 99 reg its imobolised itself i can open door with the key, wat did u do in the end, i also only have 1 key and fob, the battery has been changed the garage have had an auto locksmith out and an auto electrican an still nothing
