Hello people right I have a weird problem. Every now and then my range roverS battery just goes dead u can drive it long or short distance go to restart it and it don't start. Put jump leads on and off you go. But it doesn't do this all the time just now and then. My friend has a bmw with the same problem has anyone else had this problem or is it just me

Best way to check would be to charge the battery, then pull the fuse for one of the suspected circuits, if you still get a drain it wasn't that circuit, and repeat with the next circuit.
You can also get a meter attachment that looks like a fuse and you remove the fuse and plug in this meter probe and it measures the current draw across the fuse...obviously if the car is off there should be no current across the fuse, but if you get an amp or two, that could be the problem.
