I am looking for an engine to fit into my total rebuild 88.

A 2.25 or 2.5 petrol is what I am after. So long as nothing has exploded because it will also be rebuilt to as new or better.

I can collect with trailer and engine crane. I am based in Bedfordshire but will travel to pick up.

I have got a 2.25 petrol engine that's still in my Series 3, I purchased it some years ago from the chap who runs 'devils pit', believed to be ex-army painted green and was still created. Your welcome to come over and check it out, was running when I moved it around the garage 2 years ago.

I had the gearbox fixed at the time as it use to jump out of 1st gear!

Has a Salisbury rear axle out of the 109.

Suppose it's time I broke it and weighed the rest in.

I could do with an early Salisbury crownwheel + pinion if it's in gwo. Although I have bid on a few on ebay. That would give me a spare 110 axle with a 4.7 r+p would make my axle swap a lot easier.
