Ow do? (1975 Series III - 88 - Petrol)

Quick question, I hope. I want to respray 2x floor pans, transmission cover (s) and a deluxe bonnet (the bonnet is new to me - I have a razor atm) - I have stripped to bare metal and prepped. HOWEVER - whilst I know the paint code for the car 006 - I am unsure if the paint is "gloss" and which hardener to use (single stage paint) - to try and get best match possilbe. My LR is fairly shiney anyway - but looking for advice.

I am in the USA (Ex Pat) - so if anyone know where to get 'best' paint for the job, I am guessing 4-5 litres (or liters) will do it - I'd love to hear what people have found. Rovers North has PAINT MAN gloss (expensive on their site).

Thanks
M

Can of worms.

Paint man has a good reputation.

Paint type. It would have been an solvent based paint, single component originally. Over time the rest of the panels will have faded and lost their gloss. Paint man can get you the exact colour, and also doctor it so that the finish is gloss, or any degree of satin to matt as you wish.

You mention hardener. That's for two component paint. 2k. That's normally super glossy. And you'd have to get it made it match as Landrover colours are not standard ISO or RAL. Plus most, but not all, 2k needs decent breathing gear to apply.

Personal choice, and desire to blend with the existing paint.
