I have had my engine light come on pretty much every week now and it just comes up with the same errors:
P0170 - Fuel Adaptation Error
Camshaft Position Sensor
Cooling Fan - Open Circuit
The car seems to run fine although I am getting about 23mpg even though I drive as economically as possible. Has anyone had these errors before or have any information on how to sort them out.

poor man just came on here for some loving and careing information .............

but they are right

as regaurding the fuel comsumtion have you done a full service lately changing filter they can make a big difference

I would guess the cam position sensor is on the way out. They tend to fail when they get hot but once the engine is running the ecu has taken a cam reading so will run the engine without it. The fan is probably unrelated but obviously needs sorting!!

I agree , sounds like the cam position sensor is faulty.

Fan open circuit isnt an unusual fault to have flagged . If they work , they are working though so.
