Sadly, after 9 years and 80,000 miles, its time for me and my 4.4 V8 Vogue to go our separate ways (probably best not to think about the £25,000 that Ive spent on fuel during that time).
I thought I might as well sell off a few extras that Id collected over the years including my winter wheels & tyres, Faultmate Extreme MSV-2 and, the subject of this advert, my Intravee II and Alpine KCA-420i (both in as new condition).
This setup works on 2002-2004MY L322 models with the 6 CD-changer featuring 6 + 3 pin connectors.
The Intravee II replaces the CD-changer by converting the BMW entertainment system iBus to Alpines AI-net allowing you then to plug in Alpine AI-net equipment and control it from the steering wheel controls & screen display. The KCA-420i is an iPod adaptor so that you can plug in your iPod/iTouch/iPhone and play music through the cars audio system while the tracks are displayed on the screen (note audio only, doesnt display video content)
Im also chucking in a TV in motion lead and an AV input/output lead.
At ToysInYourCar the Intravee II and KCA-420i are currently on offer at £231. Im looking for £99 (+ postage) for the lot. Tell the wife/girlfriend/mistress it would make a great Christmas present!
