Yes it starts in first but I can immediately move it into second with the gear selector and see how that feels, which is fine.

This thread started with me asking a reasonable question and then maybe 10 people insulting me, firstly in subtle covert patronizing ways and then just direct insults.
I stopped talking about my car after a few pages and just responded to all of the insults.
And here we are over 30 pages later and 99% of the comments are just personal insults.
If you walk into a bar and buy a drink, and somebody punches you in the face, and you punch them back, you are not violent, you are just defending yourself.

Also, as I stated, only people with problems talk about their gearbox on a forum, and that does not mean that the gearbox itself is bad, you have to actually look at what percentage of those gearboxes fail.
