That reminds me of my brother's wedding, after the reception thay where driving overnight to Devon so we strapped a cod fillet to the radiatorThat reminds me the chap that takes our scrap away got out his lorry last week & removed a tin foil package from his exhaust
stack.......chickenhe cooked his chicken on his way to the yard.

Well they laid a couple overnight so maybe they are grateful, man, wimmins or tranny hens, we don't care, their eggs are GRRRRRATE!
Don't need to they came to us healthy and stayed healthy. TBH we never have had mites on any of our chooks. Maybe that is cos we takes care of their place for them.

Nope eye looked after all my toys, cant comment on my brothers stuff tho.
I remember one Christmas my uncle in Canada sent me an Airfix type kit of a Model T Ford. I built it on a piece of newspaper on the floor of the dining room. I had just finished it and sat back on my heels admiring it when my bruv ran round the table and stood on it. Not his fault. Bad weather has been forecast wrongly for two days now. I went like mad to fix her car in the heat, shouldn't have bovvad.
But now it is very still and sticky (ooh matron!).
Fink it might turn into a storm soon.

Not many jobs done today, fitted a new fan on the 200tdi landy. Went to town for a wee bit of shopping & fish n chips.
On the way back I went to check on a fledgling magpie, we found it this morning. I made it a nest out of a polly bag n
some tissue & put it in the hedge quite high up, I thought the parents would have came looking for it but when I checked
tonight it was still where id left it & no other magpies around so its now in the shed the misses will get the RSPB to collect
it tomorrow.
Oh before eye forget I was talking to the owner of the said hedge above & asked if I wanted a free Toyota Yaris.
