Which reminds me of yet another job I have to do back in blighty, wire in a pull string switch for our power shower. The guy who did the bathroom asked if we wanted one. Despite the change in the weather, although today has been sunny on and off and I have been sweating a bit, it gets harder and harder for me to go back to blighty. And W feels a bit like that too.Afternoon folks

Stacked some more wood and soaked my shirt with sweat in 30mins.
Have had a few rain storms, including the Big Guy upstairs rattling his pots and playing with his electrics, so we have now had water for 2 days maybe it will stay
Looked at the fire and thought really should fire it up to make sure all is well, that can wait
But do have to think about packing away the outside summer stuff soon
But hey Life is good, we are still here to remind you of the snow we will be getting, better than slush

Our position isn't "unsolid" we could still get Cartes de séjour which would enable us to live here all year round or even visit the UK for up to 10 months a year. But there are financial implications to do with benefits that W gets for her handicaps, that she would lose if we moved. If it wasn't for those we would move over here permanently.Just glad we got sorted before the B thing. Sure you could have done something to consolidate your position, I don’t know.
At least when we do have winter it’s usual clear and crisp, can sort of live with that

Her new glass & slate coaster arrived. The etching was perfect on the curved glass and not distorted at all. The kerning of each letter was fine. I guess they have a procedure for that.It's been a lovely day here. Spent the day playing with my lasers and printers. Hope you are all well
