Hi All,

I have a 2003 Freelander TD4 with BMW 2.0 Diesel engine and automatic gearbox.

The engine has blown, so I have got a replacement engine from ebay from a 2003 Freelander.
But... The replacement engine is from a manual gearbox Freelander.

Will this engine match with the automatic gearbox??

I'm simply concerned I may have needed to get an engine that came from a car with an automatic gearbox.
If someone knows if I've made a mistake or this is OK please respond.

Thanks for the quick reply, appreciated, that sounds like just the news I was looking for, engines nearly out ready for the new one to o in once all the bits are switched over...

Yer will have to ask the mods or perhaps the admin on ere if yer want to change it
