right hear we go, farther inlaw has brought an 02 on an 03 reg range evogue v8 lpg dark blue cream interior had trouble with the radio and cd player not working, looked at the rear end where they are kept and found a bodged brown wire running from the amp that had come off re'soldered and hay presto we had sound, during this time I reckon the battery had drained as we had doors open doing the fuse check to reset the computer etc, whent too start her up and it says low gear ratio air suspension prob and engine safe mode and wont start. I know the battery is knackered as the light came on the other day when I change it tomorrow will all the above reset there selves. I don't know the history of the car it came from Hereford car sales it has a one life live it sticker in the back so I reckon a member had it not so long ago if it was your car any history would be helpfull

You may be lucky and only get away with having to reset the steering angle sensor...

This is down by turning full lock left and hold for a couple of seconds, then full lock right and hold for a couple of seconds, then back to centre....this should reset the centre position of the steering angle sensor.

With luck this will cancel the EAS/ABS/HDC warnings on battery reconnection.

As for the Engine Failsafe and Transfer Box warnings, these could be down to low battery, with a fresh strong power source these will clear themselves with luck.

Admittedly, it is a little cryptic.....

Many scour the threads on here looking for help and advice, and they use the thread title as a clue to the contents....a good title will help in forum searches too....

Maybe we can ask the Mods, to put a sticky up reminding posters that a good clear title will assist in getting advice and helping others!

Is it a Vogue or HSE??

If it is a Vogue with the Sat Nav - does the Sat Nav work??

The L322 is notorious for leaks into the rear N/S corner of the boot area where the Stereo Amp, Sat Nav and Screen Modules are....the leak wrecks the delicate electronic gear in that corner rendering the stereo and sat nav useless.

Have a goosey in that area and disconnect the multiplugs looking for corrosion to the pins and plugs....or any sign of moisture getting in there.

Also try removing fuse 49 for 20 minutes, sometimes this disconnection reboots the system....worth a shot!

its a vogue had a gander in the area that you have mentioned sat nav working done the fuse thing no joy, there has been a bodge wire from the amp onto a wire running forward to the monitor when I messes with it I got 1 speaker working but very low, all connectors dry its a mistery prob take it for a electrical test on the whole audio system as im not ofay and looks a bit delicate

Hmmmm....any rouge wiring bodged together will not make an L322 happy....further investigation required.

Do you have the RAVE manuals for the L322 as this will contain the wiring diagrams!?

My theory would be the DSP Amp or the BM54 module being dicky....
