Yep same here, I think it looks grand in that colour, but at the end of the day not every colour is to everyone's taste its all down to personal preference.

To be honest I'd be more worried about the 16 mpg urban driving with the ever increasing fuel costs:eek: no way would I be able to run one of those on a day to day basis as my daily car, but then I'm just a poor peasant :(

I can't help thinking I got a bargain with my V6, 2001 ES with FSH 36000 miles on the clock in mint condition and loads of factory extras for only £1750 - that was back in 2006.
Infact it was this vehicle that I kept the longest, and although I owned a 1.8 for a week first, it really was the vehicle that started my interest in modifying Freelanders.

Sounds like a bargain and a half that!

I'd have it - if I had the money :( - just seen it has 177 BHP ...only 10 or so BHP less than a 4.0 P38 Rangey of the same era

Performance wise the Freelander is lots better then the 4.0L P38!! Better on fuel too.
That particular V6 is way over priced, I got mine for under a third of that, with less miles too, although I needed to replace the engine.

:) V6's seem to keep they're price too

i have the same as yours, hse 2005 model, but the v6 is worse than them for losing money, plus they drink fuel like a alky.:D:D

Hard to find a good V6 for less than £1700 in my searching for one but then again they are all newer than mine and there are less around or seems to be...yeah the fuel consumption is the drawback...but maybe one day ;)
