I still get odd bits of sparkly metal flakes in my sediment bowl inline fuel filter and sometimes in the engine!
These appear to be coming from the galv on the lining of the fuel tank. At first I thought it must just be a crap fuel tank but now I'm begining to think it might be added ethanol in petrol doing it. I usually fill up with "proper" BP unleaded but will be off to France in a few weeks and I beleive they add 10% to theirs...
So, what to do? Are there any corrosion inhibiter addatives I should be using or should I just add an extra in-line filter?
