Hi, I've looked for a previous threat for an answer but didn't find one; apologies though if this question has been answered before.
I'm rebuilding a 1969 series IIA with a zenith carb. The fuel inlet spigot pipe seems to be press fit into the carb body as it turned and came out of the body when I undid the fitting. Is the pipe only pressed in or is it retained with a Loctite type locking sealant or is there a problem with my carb ?

thanks

It is only a press fit. Clean up and replace with some bearing seal on the pipe.It is similar to Loctite but stronger. Next time you remove turn the nut by the jube while holding the other still. I think every one who has had a Zenith carb finds this out! Cheers.
