MY RR is a 4 door 1982 3.5 the problem is my seats are shot really shot.... so off to ebay to get some new ones fantastic got a full set for not much more the some covers nice ones too are rests and every thing she will look the part with these in i thought.
the back seats are the split ones no probs will make a hole and bolt in fantastic now the problems start....... the front seats are on runners the first one is bolted the 2nd one is on a sort of backbone that slides this is part of the seat base not on the seat but the one that you bolt the seat to, the runners are 12in on the old seats and 13 in on the new ones .Could i grind the backbone off and weld the seat runners to the base?? or would i be able to swap the runners from old seats to new so will fit existing not sure if the runners come off the new seats .....
