Hello peeps.
Been reading lots and learning so thought I'd better join up to ask more specific questions..
I'm looking to buy a soft top Landy- either Series 3 88" or a later Ninety.
Preferably Bronze Green or Marine Blue at a push. And preferably diesel.
The ideal would have a galva chassis and parabolics with a 200TDi lump, and a bulkhead in one pice, but hey ho, I can dream..
It's to replace my utterly dependable Pajero, which is great off road, never leaks, never EVER breaks, very comfy, very warm in winter and cool in summer.. and dull. I need something that will get me to where I want to go ONLY with my blood, sweat and tears. Something that needs some kind of tinkering at weekends. Something that has that smell. Something to put a smile on my face. In short.. I need a Land Rover. But not the rust. No need for that...
