You fix onething then something else breaks...

Took the steering wheel apart to see if I could find an earth fault that is stopping my cruise control working (funning voltage reading on the set button) - of course to do this you have to disable the SRS, RAVE said to disconnect the battery 1st. Anyway, couldn't find anything wrong with the buttons on the steering wheel, so put it all back together and re-connected the battery. Went to re-set the windows, drivers window went down then wouldn't come up! Damn
Took the door lining off, blooming regulator has snapped :(.

Why do these thing happen 15 minutes before the local dealer is going to shut - sped down there, but they were already long gone...

New regulator on order from Island 4x4 - bent bit of metal holding window up - anyone know where I can order the crappy foam door cover with the tube of black gundge?

Could have been worse I suppose, it least it happened whilst I was working on her, it could have happend at the car park barrier in Gatwick Airport, then I would have been shafted!
