wireless winch remote

Does any one know anything about them. mine has stoped working although the winch is fine, put a new battery in it, made no difference, so i am guessing a bad connection either where the wired in end is i.e to the solernoids or the aeriel is playing up any ideas??

First check the wires to the receiver box are still connected and not corroded. If all is good, open the little box up. Chances are it' full of mud and ****e. Give it a clean out with leccy contact cleaner and let it dry. They are cheap tat. I have one for my cheap ebay leccy winch. The one I fitted to my truck is a propper job. has about 50-100 yard range depending on weather conditions, battery etc.

Dunno about wireless winch remotes specifically, but many wireless 'things' need synching. Each bit, transmitter and receiver, have a small reset button. press one then the other or both together .. if there are any, that is!!

if there aren't any reset buttons then I'm wrong ..
