Disco 1 Wiper Spindle Repair?

Hi everyone,
Has anyone repaired the wiper spindle on a disco one and have any advice as to shopping list
or fiddly bits.
The wiper works fine but the spindle has lots of side to side movement and is leaking water in.
The wiper does sweep too low and hits the bottom of the screen rubber which is crucifying the wiper blade!!
Assume this is just a case of previous owner has removed the wiper and not put it back lined up properly.
Any info greatly appreciated.

I've now removed the wipers and the black plastic trim and can see that it is the spindle that is
worn. Looks like a bushing or some kind of bearing. Does anyone know if this part is available or
do I have to buy the whole kabudle??

Removed wiper motor assembly and striped it down to find that the metal has worn
away on both the spindle and it's housing. I'm guessing it was metal to metal when
new with no bushing or likewise.
Can't be fixed is my guess - Shame really as everything else is perfect!!
I'm guessing second hand will be in a similar state?
Anyone know a part number for just the linkage?
AMR3869 seems to always bring up the motor as well?
