Does anyone know the wires for the wiper motor on a 1984 RR Classic ? I have looked in RAVE but no mention of the wiring.

I've got:
Brown/Green
Orange/Green
Blue/Green
Black/Green
Green

It's an off roader, just want to hook up a switch to get them working, not concerned about intermittent wipe (if it even has it) etc.

Many thanks

Unlikely to find it in RAVE as your vehicle is too early. IIRC 1989 on is covered by RAVE.
Mine's a 1986 & that's a big thick A4 book & covers 1986 to 1989 & the colours appear to be different to yours.
According to mine the wires at the motor are:
White/Light Green from fuse 7 - this wire also goes to the front wiper delay unit
Black earth
Blue/Light green to column switch
Red/Light green to column switch
Brown/Light green to front wiper delay unit.
.On mine the column switch does off/intermittent/normal speed/fast speed & push the end for wash.
If you just want it for offroad & you don't want anything other than normal speed and off then you may be better identifying the earth & just taking a live feed via a fused switch to any wire that makes it work.

Cheers yes that's the plan as I don't have the stalk anyway.
