wiper blade size 13" or 14"

just looking at getting some new blades, the ones on my fender seem to measure 14", but all the ones online are 13" listed for the fender, cant get to my fender to double check right now (it may be the frame is 14", but the actual rubber is 13")
can anyone shed some light on this so I can see when it rains???

i ordered the ones that were listed on the net as 13" and they are a wee bit smaller than the standard ones that were on it.

i should say now after you order them that if they dont fit... it aint my fault

but the 13s i fitted are noticeably smaller than the oems.

did you go for the funky modern ones... without all the mechano on them?

Are they those aero thingys? I would be interested to know if they are better than the standard ones.

no, just the standard ones, had the aero ones on my last car, the flex in them was such that the middle part of the wiper tended not to contact the screen, so left a unwiped section right where I looked.

that, and not sure a sleek aero look would sit well on a fender.

and if the 14s dont fit, Ill just remove the rubbers, shorten and fit to the existing frames.

Isn't the point of aero to reduce air noise and to help work at high speeds.... useful for a fender then

i put aero ones on, but purely because there i less metal to rot

hmmm, i bought them for my last motor, cos they looked good, sedonas don't go that fast either...

Not sure if they are similar to Aero blades but I bought the Silblades from Mudstuff which I have been very happy with. One guy said his didnt last too long though so not sure of long term benefit.... They are also fairly expensive.
