One of my wiper arms keeps falling off whilst driving.

I see there is a 'spring clip' thing on the arm, that I guess clips onto the wiper box spindle, but I can't seem to click it into place.

Should I be doing summat different cus I'm tempted to bash it with a sledge hammer?

i boutght replacement blades from halfrods that kept falling out.Two cable ties later(one on each blade) no more falling off

take them back and get them to fit them proppa. If they still fall off, ask for them to replace them with Bosch (FOC).

I have tons of peeps coming back with misfitted blades.

it a tappered thread that the wiper arm goes on to you can buy new ones easy to replace if you can get the little grub screw to come out might solve your problem

I might buy new arms and spindles as bevhelee suggests.

But if I unscrew the grub screw, should the spring clip locate into place behind the it and hold the arm in place?

dunno if ye can make it out or not, but there's a plain bit just behind the splines...

This is what yer clip on the wiper arms fit into to hold thum on.
oh,and don't go hittin' it with a hammer as ye'll more than likely burst yer wiper box!;):D

Nice one Buster:)

Ive just popped out to have a look and can now see how it clicks into place. Ive pressed as hard as I can by hand, but it still wont click into place. Im off to Billing tomorrow so might pick up some new arms.

By the way, whats the part in your photo called that the arm clicks onto, the bit that looks like a top hat?
