Hi All,

Just about to buy these from Paddocks: S6015 6inch 100w Stainless Steel Driving Lamps - pair

Going to bolt them straight to the bumper. Just wondering if they are all legal if wired to main beam? Wasn't sure if 100W was legal, thought it might have to be 55W. I notice the wiring kit Paddocks supply comes with a switch? This suggests they may need to be operated via this switch rather than main beam.

100w aint legal but sup to you whether you fit them as theyre only main beam..... would be better wiring them with a relay (gotta get round to doin it on mine) someone made up an angle iron mount for my spots on the bumper but i will make summmit better when replace them as id like to replace the cut grille with an intact one just make sure you choose the correct ampage wiring for the larger bulbs

Cheers for the reply mate. Would it just be a case of using H3 55w bulbs instead to make them legal then? And is the mount for the bumper necessary, or can I just bolt straight on?

yes it is as simple as swapping bulbs, and as far as i know as long as you can drill them into a secure surface (i.e. metal) knock yourself out
