Hi,

Tomorrow will see my 2.5TD having a good service ready for the winter. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or tips for those little extra jobs that might make a difference (like flushing the engine before new oil, redex etc)? Its done 110,000 miles by the way, so needs looking after!

I was just intending to do all the filters, oil change antifreeze check and screen wash, oh and change the victorian candles that try to light the way with a halogen headlight conversion!

Cheers Steve

check yer GPs get RED hot

and every week put a fiver away in a tin for the time when your engine meets it's maker

The engine runs a treat, but you buggers have got me paranoid - every time I drive it now, it sounds a little more like a ticking bomb!

look after it and it'll look after you, last TD i ran did 140k before it needed new rings - stop worrying but keep listening
