Winter Events?

As the nights draw in, and the weather cools off, do the Landy events quieten down as well, or are there any events planned anywhere on your mainland for the latter stages of the year?
I've got some days holiday left, and I really need to get off the rock for a few days

I'm going on a weekend run around North Wales, camping and laning towards the end of October, but that's full. We often go out 'snow bashing' when we get snow, it just depends what folk feel like .. though we usually go as a group of friends that's very local to Doncaster/Sheffield/Chesterfield, but who all met through Landyzone, so pretty ad-hoc organisation!
