Windscreen wiper switch?

Had a little rain yesterday and used the wipers for the first time.
Worked great but would not cut off!
I have to move the switch up and down quite a few times before it finally shuts off.

What do I need?

It might be the cut-off switch on the wiper motor itself. You can test the stalk switch by disconnecting it and using a multimeter. If all looks good, check out the switch on the motor.

As instantsquid said, check the park switch on the motor first.
