My front wipers do not park, they didn't park when I bought the vehicle years ago. I replaced the motor and column switch 3 years ago. I've just got round to trying to get them to park. The wire feeding the motor terminal 2 brown/light green has no power. If I run a power supply to terminal 2 it will blow 10/20/30amp fuses? Please can someone tell me if I have got it wrong? or is the motor duff?

there is a small switch that gets activated when the motor reaches the 'park' position, it's inside the motor, or at least goes inside. By recollection it's where the wires are attached. this can get stuck if i remember. the grease causes it to stick.

This would be my guess.

it's in the photo (from google) as the small black switch that gets moved by the white 'blob' on the underside of the disk / cog.

Thanks for your help. Can I run a permanent live to terminal 2? or is the brown/light green wire that feeds T2 powered up when the wiper switch is in the off position? I am struggling to trace wire back, old vehicle wires spliced different colours etc.
