Hello once again my fellow Rangie users, Im very gratefull for all the help so far its helped me alot, the window is my next question, since buying my Rangie the drivers front window seems to loose its memory, i can be goin down the motoway or even parked waitin for kids near school then when i use the window it says "drivers window not set" etc etc, so i do the set sequence and all is good sometimes for a week or a couple of days,:( i think ive done this 5 times since owning the rangie now which is around 6 week or even more, have you got any ideas, the battery has never gone flat so i really cant understand why it happens. Again Many thanks.

Make sure the connections are clean and hope that there isn't a break in the wiring at the door pillar. You could be losing power momentarily every now and then which would unset it no matter how good the supply is. After that you are talking about door outstations etc etc but usually when they go they take other things with them so most likely a connection. I take it the regulator is ok - i.e. no clicking when it's closing?

i think the regulator is fine and theres no clicking, but the chap i got it from had fitted a new 1, when the window is open slightly the window mech rattles, but when the window3 is closed its fine, i think its time to take the panal off and investigate again, with a bit of luck the prob might be more noticable. Many thanks matey :)

If you've never had the panel off yourself watch out for the screw hidden behind the small speaker panel in the top corner. It's easy to miss.
