Hello, basically if I leave the car with a window open for the dog, and lock up using the key, sometimes I'll come back to find the window shut and other times still open. I am not using lazy locking btw. Any help would be appreciated, I have tried the manual and searches but with no joy.

If you leave a window open and lock with ONE press of fob it should not close automatically. Maybe the dog got cold and shut the window. :D

Possibly a problem with the alarm or BECM. Do you have damp in the car? Needles and haystacks spring to mind. Good diag may tell you something.

If you have access to a nanocom evo you can deselect lazy locking windows in the becm.Which should stop it happening.

I do get random indicator flashing also, if that could be linked.

This can be an early indication of BECM problems so, linking it with your ghostly windows, I'd strongly advise you to investigate your BECM for damp or contact corrosion. Don't forget that the area could be dry now but that doesn't mean that it's not been damp in the past.

Get a de humidifier in there I did it recently and was shocked how much water it pulled out
Ive made it a regular thing now! Couple of nights a month especially whilst the weather is so wet

Thanks for the input, I will now:

1. Dehumidify
2. Clean the becm connections, i take it i can just disconnect the battery and then remove it?

3. Get the A/C regassed so that it works.

The drivers latch is knackered, could this contribute? Cheers.

Ok so I removed th becm and cleaned all connections, they all looked ok however the carpet in the drivers footwell was soaking, I reckon from when either the matrix o rings had gone or the pollen filter covers were leaking and it just hasn't dried out yet because there doesn seem to be any fresh leakage.
