Window winder issue.

Had a problem with the window regulator on 1995 110 middle row door, wouldn’t wind down, basically jammed. Took it apart, cleaned/greased the winding spindle, now it winds up and down but you can push the glass down (and up) with your hands. I can’t see what part of the mechanism is meant to stop this. Anyone shed any light on it? The regulator is part number ALR4534 (1994 on), i’ll Try to get a piccy up. Cheers, Ads

Aye, is it the inverse of the mechanical advantage through the system means it shouldn't drop.
