My newlt acquired '95 classic is spot on in every respect apart from the n/s rear pass window is stuck almost closed- only a couple of mm away from fully shut- strangely though someone has wedged the glass against the door card with a strange looking metal thing which disappears down into the door body- Very odd. When I try the motor it sounds as though itd working but windae doesnt go up or doon! Am frightened to remove aforementioned strange metal object in case glass vanishes down door- not good as its perma ****ing up here!

Get the door card off see if the motors attached.My drivers side is kanckered but some times works.Pain in the arse

motor is attached and trying to work. Would be happy if i could just shut the cnut fully as the whistling noise is doing my fruit and interfering with my enjoyment of the V8.

Am wondering if there is any manual way to wind it up and then will just leave it alone

I did say leave the windows outta it...

stuff cling film in the gap till its dryer to disassemble the door to fix.I would fit manual windows if i were you.

give this a try,open the door and get someone to put there hands either side of the glass press the button to raise the window get them to lift the glass up,if it will move that is,failing that a strip of duck tape

Grand idea- am getting Mrs Fatrover to stick her paws on the glass in the morning. Fingers crossed!!
