P38A Win 11 and Rave ISO's

Those Microsoft a-holes have done it again. Rave that ran under Win 10, will no longer work under Win 11.
Tried all the same fixes as before (Compatibility mode) but no dice.
Has anyone managed to get it working, if so how?

It's not just Win11, after the last Microshyte update, RAVE no longer works on my Win10 tablet and the compatibility trouble shooter doesn't work either.

Looks like it has also been removed from Win 10 now

I think I shall have to reload an old Win XP64 Pro to the laptop and go from there.

Got an old laptop and loaded rave, EAS software to it and turned off internet access so no updates. My windows 10 PC still running Rave at the moment but have blocked updates

I read a few articles on windoze 11 upgrade not good even ms giving up. I have a 10 slow from the updates.
When I had my Freelander I got the OTP from Rimmer Bros worked perfectly.
I believe the issue the required security Tp2 for upgrade on laptop later model's

Running ok on my laptop with win 11, I had to play with it a tad but got there in the end

What did you "play" with to get it to go?
I have tried setting the compatibility of both the app and the acrobat dll to Earlier versions of Windows but Acrobat just bombs out after the splash screen.

To be honest I can't for the life of me remember, one thing though I don't have it in compatibility mode. I will try to go back through it to see what I did

Surprise surprise, after another microshyte Win 10 update, compatibility mode has come back and RAVE works once again on my tablet using Win98 mode.

Nothing really out of the ordinary really, works fine though

Tried all that. Computer says no.
NVM, I will persevere.

How about if the put all the Acrobat 5 executables in the same folder as RAVE?

I've tried all of the hints/tips as written up by others, but while it will now initially run the Acrobat app without crashing, it does not display any of the files and it crashes if you try file/open. Very odd.
