Has anyone had the wing mirrors do strange things when there being folded in. On mine as I fold them in the drivers one folds in and the passenger one folds out and vice versa when pressed again. Any ideas what can be done to get them to fold in and out the same way.

New mirror may be needed, ( new to you may work also as they are kin expensive), we heard of this before ...

If they don't work properly when you fold them in, don't fold them in ;) (not very helpful, but couldn't resist)

I haven't got these sort of mirrors so I'm not qualified, but it sounds to me like a wiring fault, not a mirror fault, possibly on or near the switch.

Only a thought... could you manually push one or the other so they are both "in" or "out" and hope that synchronises them, I guess there is a system that detects power to the folding mechanism that then resets / signals the BCU once limits (in / out) are reached. Maybe one got knocked... perhaps operating properly, just out of synch with its neighbour? I'd guess there must be the ability for these power-fold types to move manually in the event they get accidentally moved by a pedestrian in a car park etc.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.
